When life gives you bananas, make ice cream! This decadent dessert is quite literally a mouthful of happiness for the taste buds. No need to feel guilty about nourishing your sweet tooth when nature has got you covered with its beautiful yellow friends, and a little bit of cocoa drizzle – because, why not?
Ingredients For Ice Cream
1 large Ripe Banana
1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
Ingredients For Cocoa Drizzle
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
2 teaspoons of organic coconut oil
¼ teaspoon of agave
Tools
Food processor or blender
Nice Cream Preparation
Peel the banana and cut into half. Place the two pieces of banana into a small container and freeze for three hours or overnight. Once frozen blend the banana pieces in the food processor or blender. Whiz until it looks like soft serve ice cream. Serve and top it off with the cocoa drizzle.
Cocoa Drizzle Preparation
In a small bowl pour the coconut oil, cocoa powder and agave. Whisk the mixture with a fork until it looks like a chocolate glaze and drizzle it on the ice cream. Enjoy!
