During these hard economic times, it is hard for us girls to even come close to buying everything we want. Shopping sprees are kept to a minimum, which means we are forced to reuse pieces over and over [which can get a little tiring]. Don’t fret, all hope is not lost! If you factor a blazer, cardigan and jean jacket into your wardrobe you can create quite a few fabulous outfits. Whatever the event, whatever the day, I am sure you can fit these three pieces to match your style!
The blazer is as versatile as an overthrow piece could possibly be. Need a classy look for a business meeting? Pull on the dress pants, collared shirt and a blazer and you are out the door. How about a piece for casual day wear? Throw on some jeans and a cute tee or tank and the blazer can be everyday casual. Even those nights out on the town with the girls can be made simple; the blazer can be dressed up with a dressy top or daring mini skirt. If you buy a blazer you are set for any event, classy or casual.
The cardigan, like the blazer can be one of the most useful layers you have in your wardrobe. Look scholastic and professional or keep it laid-back casual with a pair of shorts or ripped jeans. The jean jacket is back and better than ever (not to mention retro; time travel to the 80’s anyone?) Pair a cropped jean jacket with a pair of leggings and booties; it’s one of my favorite casual looks! Jean jackets can also go over casual dresses or a tank and shorts. The possibilities are endless; it’s just time for you to get your creative genius in gear!
You may be in a slump because you can’t buy all the fashion essentials this season, but don’t be so quick to judge the old wardrobe pieces you have now! A blazer, cardigan or jean jacket can take you far and create numerous stylish looks for any occasion.
