Enjoy a healthy, invigorating, low-calorie shake any day of the week. This recipe is an upgraded version using bananas, almond milk and cinnamon. Can you guess the trick for getting the thick consistency? I’ll give you a hint: it’s frozen.
Ingredients
Serves 1
1 frozen banana {cut into four pieces}
1 cup almond milk
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon pure honey or agave syrup
Cinnamon stick {garnish}
Nutmeg {decorative sprinkled garnish}
Tools
Blender or NutriBullet
Preparation
Combine all of the ingredients except for the cinnamon stick into a blender and whiz until smooth. Pour the shake into a glass and sprinkle a bit of nutmeg on top. Add the cinnamon stick and serve!
Tip – Save your ripe bananas by slicing and freezing them.
